Detroit Marygrove Conservancy Wedding
Nick and Angela’s Marygrove wedding was absolutely incredible and we think that this venue is one of Detroit’s hidden gems! Marygrove campus provided the perfect backdrop for their wedding not only because of its historic elegance, but also because of its location in the city.
The ceremony took place at the historic Sacred Heart chapel, nestled within the Marygrove campus. Its architecture and stained glass windows provided an ethereal ambiance that complimented the ceremony. As Nick and Angela exchanged vows and sealed their commitment with a kiss, the chapel was filled with love, joy and smiles from all!
Couples who decide to brave the month of April with their wedding day understand that they could get rain, sun, wind or even snow. But that never seemed to dampen Nick and Angela’s spirits as they just rolled with whatever we were given weather wise. Lucky for all of us the rain subsided just as the ceremony ended and left us just enough dry time for portraits. We took advantage of the few moments of sunshine to capture Nick and Angela’s smiles and fun!
Following the ceremony and wedding pictures at Marygrove, the celebration continued in a stunning ballroom also on the campus. The reception venue was incredible, adorned with elegant decor that enhanced the ballroom’s historic beauty. Every detail had been meticulously planned, creating an atmosphere of sophistication and warmth.
As the evening progressed, Angela and Nick took to the dance floor to share their first dance as a married couple. Surrounded by their guests, they danced the night away. The room was alive with laughter, cheers, and the sound of music from the band as friends and family joined the couple on the dance floor celebrating their new journey together.
Nick and Angela’s Marygrove wedding was a true celebration of love and the beginning of a beautiful journey together. May their journey be filled with happiness, love, and many more magical moments like the ones they shared on their wedding day at Marygrove campus.
