What an incredible day we had working with Anwesha and Armaan photographing their South Asian Indian Wedding at Planterra.

All of the love, energy, vibrant rich colors and fantastic whimsical vibes were flying high for us while we photographed Anwesha and Armaan’s wedding at Planterra. We specialize in photographing Southeast Asian weddings in Michigan so we were so happy that Anwesha found us! We worked closely with Anwesha and Armaan, getting to know both of them and their families so we could carefully capture their wedding. We’ve learned through the years photographing Indian weddings in Michigan that many times our couples favorite family members live in India and the wedding is the first chance for both families to travel and blend together for the first time. It makes for a very exciting day and Anwesha and Armaan’s wedding day was no exception!
Planterra did an exceptional job creating their Mandap. The four corners that represent all four parents of the couple was crated from a birch tree and draped with vines and flowers. White flowers hung delicately from the top of Mandap giving it a bright, fresh and airy feel. Planterra’s glass roof lets lots of light in so that everyone could see the couple participate in the ceremonial rituals. Under the Mandap was a traditional fire pit along with a Puja Thali. Pricing varies as each wedding is unique and we take things like guest count, hours of service and multiple locations and days of service into consideration. You can expect to pay approximately $350 per hour to work with our team for a single day of service.
