Winter weddings don’t get any better than this! We LOVE working at the Inn at St. John’s for so many reasons, but the best reason is that it’s one of the best venues in Southeast Michigan to host a winter wedding. The architecture inside the chapel and ballrooms provide a spectacular bonus for winter wedding couples or even spring/summer/fall couples on a rainy and cold day. The courtyard is surrounded by four walls that help insulate you from high winds, so even on the coldest of days we can often pop outside for a few moments to catch some natural sun in your wedding day photos. Simply put regardless of the kind of weather you have on your wedding day, you are going to stay warm, dry and have a place to take great photos. Lucky for Taylor and Haley they had a winter wedding and a pretty nice day as well so we were able to get the best of both worlds for them, but St. John’s definitely ranks as one of our faves for this reason.
